By now I'm sure you're sick to death of shoes and you've read enough art reviews to keep you going until summer comes around. Let's watch some TV then shall we? Let's.
This infomercial comes from Orbit Showtime Network (OSN)'s "Live More" corporate social responsibility (CSR) campaign. I've featured their TV ads in the past, when they've focused on staying hydrated and eating healthy during the holy month of Ramadan. This one is aimed at building awareness of the negative effects of stress on the human body. And it's a looong list. Apparently stress can lead to headaches, insomnia, diabetes, strokes, eating disorders, and cancer (really?). But have no fear! OSN is here! According to the video, "just a chuckle a day keeps the stress hormones cortisol and adrenaline away and makes the feel good hormone endorphin stay." Cut to the next scene where the cartoon figure in the ad plunks himself down in front of the boob tube and laughs away his high blood pressure and depression. How fortunate for OSN that after watching this ad you can just stay on the couch and wait for The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to come on.
Have you seen OSN's latest ad? What did you think of it? Let me know in the comments section below or on my Facebook page or on Twitter!
